You gotta talk about it with people. I know it’s hard but the hardest part will be the first conversation, even just the first sentence, then it’ll get easier. Chances are other people do not think it’s a big deal at all. They just think you don’t want to talk about it so they avoid it to be polite. My favorite quote has always been “your silence will not protect you.” Silence seems safe but in the long run it’ll be better if you talk about it, I promise you.
