My best advice is apply and just be transparent about it. Years ago I had a temp job answering phones. I didn't last the day. There are plenty of other ways to get experience/earn money than with doing anything on the phone. I focused on excelling in every other area, which has worked well for me. There's nothing I can do as of yet about the near lifelong stutter, but I'm in control of everything else.
