A girl at the pub mocked my stutter and I was completely unfazed Was walking out of the pub with my mates when I was stopped by a girl. We spoke for a bit until I said I needed to go. She asked for my name and I struggled for a few seconds before finally getting it out. My speech has massively improved recently but I still have a problem with D’s which is unfortunately what my first name begins with. The girl was very sweet and patient however I could see her friends trying not to laugh. As I walked away one of her friends yelled “SPIT IT OUT”. I just smirked at my friend who gave me a pat on the back and told me to ignore it, got in the car and off we went to the next pub. Usually something like that would have really affected me but it didn’t bother me one bit. I realised a while ago it’s not worth your time and energy to get upset about some horrible people. Thought i’d just share this little story hoping it will help others. Have a great week everyone!
