Anyone else able to “read words” aloud mechanically until you start to think about it?

Anyone else able to “read words” aloud mechanically until you start to think about it? I’ve had a little bit of luck when reading aloud in just bypassing my mind entirely and going words->mouth without thinking about meaning. The issue is when I start to think about it, prep for what’s ahead, or repeat the sentence. I get tripped up and frozen on words at that point. Anyone else have this experience?
