Bring it up if you’re comfortable. Mention it once, explain what it is then live your lives. I’m 34M and married now. All my relationships, romantic or platonic it was never an issue. If you’re close enough the conversation often goes something like- “I don’t talk about it much, but I have a stutter. Sometimes it’s hard for me to say things” “Ah I noticed something but wasn’t sure” …life continues as normal. You’ll always care a lot more than other people. I get frustrated at myself on a bad day, all I get from friends and family is support and the odd question.
