BIG YIKES that's what I'm talkin about with equipment, for hearing impared too aids can be so expensive but the technology is nothing fancy, you're paying for someone to mess with the settings. it's like people telling me I didn't get the right therapy just reminds me that my family pretty much had no way to know these people had no idea what the hell they were doing because they were all "wearing the badge" of an expert, comforting to the ignorant but INFURIATING once someone schemed finds out. That Parkinson's thing is fascinating especially because one of the things that helps me get through blocks without any method or practice gesturing or tapping my hand on myself or if a loved one pats me on the back or something! like tapping satisfies whatever spastic nerves that are making me sputter?? wild stuff!
