I have suffered a lot with stuttering during interviews. I write code for a living, so I don't need to talk charmingly, I just need to communicate clearly enough. Yet still interviews are really important. I tend to stutter a lot more when it's a phone interview where we don't have the cameras open. The thing that helped me the most is doing a lot of them. It's a game of numbers. When I'm looking for a job, I tend to apply to every job posting I see. Doing a lot of interviews makes me get used to it a bit. The anxiety levels go down as I do more interviews and practice. It will never be easy. Talking is will always be a challenge in every situation I encounter. But it is what it is. I'll just work harder. I'll go that extra mile and learn more. So that when I stutter in the next interview, the interviewer would bare with me because they know that I'm better than most other candidates. That's my strategy.
