It depends on the type of stutter, for example there are blocks, word repititions, sound rep., prolongations, and others. I would ask the director if he/she has a preference, then do some research on that. And also don't stick to a pattern 100% so it seems more natural. Then when you do stutter, use some stuttering strategies like slow speach, prolongation, easy onset (sigh into the word), light contact, cancelation, and breathy speach, again fo not have them work 100% of the time.
