You're not broken. You don't need to be fixed. The speech therapists that treat you as such are wrong. The things that may make your life miserable are disruptive learned behaviors and unhelpful thoughts/feelings/shame about it. Neither is your fault. Both can be worked on with a therapist who knows what they're doing. You don't need to be fluent to be happy to accomplish your goals. Look at Brayden Harrington.
