Yes. Growing up, I believed that if I could pronounce everything correctly, then I wouldn't stutter. Grammar isn't all that important to me, but pronunciation is everything. I pay super close attention to the nuance in other people's speech patterns and letters added or dropped. Maybe that plus the myriad of other self taught techniques has helped me be super fluent with occasional slipups. Maybe it's Maybelline.
