Wow, so much stigmatising language…. A key message here has always been stammering does not define a person and I would always encourage those who stammer not to define themselves in this regard. Part of who we are, not all of who we are…. Relationships are based on respect, equality, meeting each other’s needs, sharing quality time, compromise etc….fluency or lack there off should not be and never be a determining factor. Who you are, and who your partner is, this is what matters. Are you compatible? Have fun together? Not speech dependent. Is he a good guy? First and foremost…give him a chance. I suspect he will surprise you..
