If I were you, I would have followed a few things 1. I will first observe my family member's speech pattern including their speed, volume, and body language if I am the only one in the family who stutters - it will provide me sufficient data to compare with others who have almost similar environments but still don't stutter 2. I will observe my speech pattern & identify mistakes when I stutter like I am making like getting excited, increasing speed, overthinking, etc. - it helps me understand exact trigger point before Stuttering 3. I will start winning(not stuttering) in every conversation with family members because it is comfortable to start where I can manage stuttering easily 4. I will use my updated speech pattern(which helps me to speak without stuttering) in other situations & improvise my pattern with every feedback (from self observation)after conversation.
