It's the way you put your view across which carries with it all those connotations which you might not have intended. When you say, "Stuttering is tough, we all get it... But where's the stuttering pride?", that comes across as being scornful of other people's perspectives and experiences of stuttering (if what they want to share is something negative, well then that's up to them. Maybe they r going through a hard phase in their lives right now). -When you minimise the suffering, it magnifies the pain- If you feel the need for more positivity, then it's up to you to contribute it. You can suggest it gently, but you certainly cannot talk like others are wrong in the way they talk about stuttering and their experiences. There was absolutely no sensitivity in your post! :)
