Hi. I don't want to make a new post, but really want to ask about how do i talk to stuttering people? I met my stuttering godfather for the firts time some years ago. When we were talking he tried to ask me a question. Short simple question, but in the end he started stuttering HARD. By that point i already figured out what the question was, there was no need to finish it, and so i just answered it, without letting him finish the sentence. He nodded and we continued eating or whatever. Years later and i still don't know if this was rude or helping him? I feel like the devil is in the details, so what do you think is correct aproach here, interrupt or let finish?
