Anyone else feel like they're extravert but are held back by stuttering?

Anyone else feel like they're extravert but are held back by stuttering? I don't consider myself an introvert at all. I genuinely enjoy talking to lots of people and initiating conversations and approaching people in general. It's just that stuttering makes it so damn hard to express the true person that I am. Whenever I have these rare moments of reasonable fluency I've been told I'm a completely different person. Anyone else feel the same way?
