My fluency is directly correlated to my stress. The more stressed out I am the worse I stutter, which makes me more stressed out. It can be a vicious cycle. high school was a very stressful time for me, as I'm sure it is for a lot of people. When I was your age I thought that I would somehow be 'cured', like my stutter would just go away somehow. It never did. Around age 30 or so I realized that if I wanted this part of me to change I would have to work at it. Have you tried speech therapy? If you can't or don't want to, self-therapy can be helpful, too. [Self Therapy for the Stutter](https://www.stutteringhelp.org/sites/default/files/Migrate/book0012_11th_ed.pdf) is available in PDF for free and is a great resource.
