That sounds awful. I’m sorry your therapist was so terrible. I had a traumatic experience when I was in the seventh grade- I went to a catholic school and for mass I was one of the students picked to go up to the podium and recite the Hail Mary ten times. I stuttered on the word Jesus that first time, and had to attempt to say it 9 more times after that and it just got worse. Ugh the thought of it makes me cringe. My public speaking went downhill from there. Thanks for sharing, at the very least my son knows he’s not alone
