Everyone has different experiences with it, but mine was not great. At first, it worked perfectly. I thought it was a miracle, a Godsend. I could talk! Like a human! I was perfectly fluent all day long. Then after about two months, my stutter began to mutate and adapt. A word here, a word there, slowly multiple times a sentence. The SpeechEasy works on delayed audio feedback (the same principle that makes you fluent when you are reading a passage along with an entire class or singing), so I would go in once a month or so for my SLP to modify the amount of DAF. After another 2 to 3 months, my stutter mutated again. I began having to go in weekly for modifications, and eventually my stutter conquered the SpeechEasy. Nothing worked, even multiple settings that I would switch on the fly. Altogether, I saw benefit from it for about six months, the first two of which were the best two “fluency” months of my life. I hope you have better results if you go ahead with it and are one of the ones that cures. 🙏
