That is awesome to hear! I still do this day to remember everything about my first NSA Conference 30 years ago. It was a very emotional experience for me, and hopefully for you as well. The only piece of advice I shall give you when meeting members of your stuttering family for the first time is to go up to a member and say hello. You may be thinking, what is something that I can speak to them about? It's actually harder than you think walking up to a "stranger," where in 60 seconds will become a new friend. Plus, they will wait and won't interrupt you while you are trying to speak your point. I myself have a severe stutter that, at times, will take me about 90 seconds to say just one sentence. I feel so relaxed and comfortable attending an NSA conference. I hope we run into each other in Denver? Have fun! :-)
