I'm a HR consultant, so I have to talk to a lot of people. However, like George343, I try to use written communication as much as possible. Also, I try to be introduced to new people by a coworker and I'm happy to leave my bosses do the most important presentations (and let them collect all the glory, as they say). Edit: It's hard to find a high paying job that requires little talking, but a high paying job is necessary nowadays. Beside, if you have any drawback, it helps to have some advantage to compensate, like having money to compensate for your stuttering.
