Hi Kevin, if you are in the US you should have a speech therapist at your school. This person helps people communicate and already works with many kids at school. You can talk to your parents and /or teacher and say that you want some help with stuttering. That is a good place to start. Sometimes when meeting someone new, it can help to tell them you stutter. Something like, “You might hear me stutter but thats just the way I talk so I just need some time.” You can make your own introduction to tell people if you want to.
