Sometimes I still feel that way but I have to challenge myself to think about it differently when I start to feel it. Stuttering is a part of me as much as I wish it wasn’t so all I can do is try to speak the best I can and use speech tools to help me be more fluent. Even then I may stutter so instead of feeling ashamed about it I sometimes just laugh to pause for a moment cause honestly speaking is hard and sometimes it wins. I won’t allow myself to be upset because it will happen again so my thinking is why be so emotionally invested in the stuttering moments. Just try you best and for those moments where you block do what you need to get out what you’re trying to say. Be unapologetically you and love yourself including the flaws.
