First of all, you're brave for doing this! I hope you feel good about your own willingness tpo push your boundaries to learn to be comformatable in speaking situations like this. Congrats! I used to do this a lot in speech therapy by calling the nearby Walmart, etc and asking questions. Any local store, particularly stores like Target, or stores at a nearby mall are a great place to start. If the wait isn't too long, airlines used to be good to call 'cause you could ask lots of questions etc etc.
