I agree with you. I think societal acceptance that it's a disability is important. That's probably why people laugh at it. We obviously don't live normal lives even if we have mild stutters. The severity of blocking varies moment to moment. I live my life using a limited words. I feel that if i could eventually speak clearly i would want to converse more often with strangers.
