I needed this. I just started my dream job on Monday and I’m part of a team of 60 people so I’m still meeting them as I get through the week and I’ve stuttered pretty badly in front of majority of them but they’ve all taken it pretty well. I even had to speak in front of everyone on my first day to tell them a bit about myself and I openly admitted I stuttered so apologies if I take some time responding to everyone in person. It still hurts my soul every time I stutter but given they’re so nice about it, this is definitely part of the get knocked down 10,000 times stage. I barely stutter in front of friends, so I’m just trying to get to that point with them.
