Has the severity of your stutter fluctuated over time?

Has the severity of your stutter fluctuated over time? Perhaps I’m misremembering, but I think I remember my stutter being slightly better and worse at times throughout my life. My stutter seemed to get worse for a time when I was 10-12 years old, then it got slightly better for a bit after that (though it didn’t really go away). But within the past couple years I guess it’s gotten worse again. Has this happened for anyone else?
