Hey, I remember when I was in High school, I had a hard time, too. I had a small group of friends who were understanding, and most people in my grade knew that I had difficulty speaking. Like you, I tend to talk fast because I feel like I'm wasting people's time. But please don't worry about speaking. I know how difficult it can be. Overall, or at least in my situation, I think it depends on your mindset. After I graduated high school in 2021, I took a gap year and went abroad. While I was gone (and all by myself), I somehow created this new persona, which made me stutter a lot less. I honestly barely stuttered. That could be something you can try as well. It will get better with time :)
