Uni Participation Hi everyone! Im currently in uni and have been struggling with participation a lot this year. I got away with it last year but with the classes I picked for this term it requires a good amount of participation for grading. Honestly its really making me dread this uni semester and I don’t even want to show up to class anymore. Ive told 2 of my professors about my stutter and they understood. I haven’t told the other 2 though. One of my classes has attendance & participation worth 20% of my grade and I thought I could get sway with not participating in the reading discussion however last class he literally said “some of you guys haven’t participated at all yet and if you dont next class ill pick on you”. Now I’m really scared, I hate participating in class especially when its not on my own terms. Should I tell him I have a stutter and he might excuse me from it? How did you guys deal with participating in uni?
