Very close friend of mine and pretty smart to be fair too but I’m not sure if I would say it’s dumb or just ignorance, but he said is the problem with your stuttering that you don’t think about what to say before you begin speaking. He wasn’t trying to be rude and was being genuine but he said the same thing everyone in my life has said to me and I don’t know where this idea comes from that we stutter since we don’t think about what to say first.
