I stutter myself. But my parents had knowledge it's not something I do it purposely and they supported me instead of ever making fun. I can't imagine why a parent would make a fun. The only reason I can think is they may have no idea what a stutter is. Once they get the knowledge they will be embarrassed how they treated the child
