Nice answer and so true. I am a life-long stutterer (person who stutters) also. Sometimes, I think it does take growing time to become comfortable with yourself and, as you mentioned, you come to not care what people think about you. It does get better, but in the meantime, it's not so much fun. Having good stuttering therapy gives you some tools to use, so try to find a therapist who has had stuttering courses in college/university. and/or get involved in self-help groups like National Stuttering Association. Also simply getting involved in your work, career, and taking an interest in things in this world, volunteering, and/or helping others really makes one feel good about themselves. Blessings.
