True story To start off, I’ll let you know my own fucking name is hard for me to say. Back in high school I was sent down to the office one day for whatever reason. Lady behind the counter asks me “first name?” I say it with ease thank god. Then shit gets real. She asks me “last name?” My last name is Adams. I go “a......... uh..a-a——uh—uhmm—AHH—umm.....umm(etc. etc. etc. you get the idea).” The lady behind the counter stops me and says “you don’t know your own name?” I just proceed to die inside. Still haven’t recovered from that moment since. I finally got it out by saying my first and last name together as one word. It worked, but left the lady looking completely dumbfounded about me. Still, it could have been worse if she asked me to spell my name.
