I got rejected from all the branches except the army. Thank god that I didn't force myself to join. My father who's a ex vietnam vet tried to force me to join for years because I couldn't get anywhere in life. In reality with my level of stuttering it would've been hell on earth. Boot camp is hard enough as it is without being targeted by your peers and fucked with by the Sargents because you can't get a word out. My dad had a slight stutter and he said after the army it went away for some reason. I'm positive it would've fucked me up worse. If I only had a slight stutter it would've made my life better tho no doubt...alot of the recruiters tried to blow smoke up my ass & tell me I'd be alright if I was mentally strong. But nah I'm not torturing myself just to be a veteran.
