Stuttering, Keep it short, how to cure it, but it's a life long mission. I made it just for my stuttering family because we're all one. Not going to lie, my whole life I have feared away from reading books out loud since I could remember. My dad is a stutter and so is my twin, I always figure "its never going to change why start"? I have this weird hand motion that I learned to depend on when talking, I would causally wave my arms around or beat on my leg to get my words out. Some people would notice, some wouldn't but if I spend enough time around you one or the other would happen. I wanted to say that for the past two days I've been practicing very hard, let me say this again. I myself for the past two days putting my all into speaking out loud, I realized I feared away from it my whole life because I an "Great conversation speaker because i beat on my leg causally", but HO-RRi-BLE "book speaker/reading words". I dissected my stuttering habits from top to bottom. All of my habits are my stuttering habits you have to learn yours too. The most important thing I knew I had to do have grab my hands and hold them together, this would reinforce positive speaking habits to my brain. First, I knew I couldn't read from a book and if I could I can fix this stutter, Second I learned the letters that made me stutter the worst, Third I focused on how to pronounce them softly by removing pressure from the beginning of the sound, Fourth I learned how to control my breathing by gentling pushing air right under most words as I speak, Fifth started emphasizing every couple of words Sixth try to remember to keep a slow rhythm Seven I personally been rapping and looking at my favorite rapper lyrics like Nas or JayZ and copy their flow and make my own after. I've found a new love for speaking now I dont think Ill ever stop with this training. Make sure you live it yo.
