One time a teacher of mine had us line ourselves up in alphabetical order. He went down the line asking our names (yeah, he didn't even know our names) and when I of course stuttered on my name he said "wow" and skipped me going on to the next person. This was closer to the end of the year, so my parents talked with the principal. Next year the principal left and the teacher was awarded teacher of the year.
