I was pre-law when I was told that I would never be a successful lawyer because of my speech. They told me to watch that movie "My Cousin Vinny" and I realized that THEY WERE RIGHT. I spent the weekend reconsidering my future and then I changed my major to Psychology. (Best choice I ever did). Now I help people and it feels Wonderful! Also, after I turned 40, I did not give a 💩 what people thought of my stutter. I took the power back and now I created a YouTube Channel and podcast to help other people who stutter. Find what makes you happy and turn that into a career/business. Just know that YOU ARE NOT ALONE in this! We are all here to help each other out.
