What is the most comfortable really for me at least is to be behaved like anyone else. Be looked at in the eyes and the listener having patience. My problem is how I think everybody hates hearing my stutter, so to have that thought denied by the listener is nice when I'm being treated like anyone else. To help me think of my stutter as just a little speed bump, instead of a violin played wrong that everybody finds extremely annoying to listen to. Although with good intent the things I find uncomfortable are when the listener is thinking about the stutter as a problem for me with stuff like asking questions about how to act to help with the stutter, when they help with finishing words all too often etc.
