always remember what is perceived as an observer is not the same as the lived experience of someone who stammers. What may be perceived as mild may well be anything but for the person who is speaking. I would imagine those whose stammer is mostly comprised of blocking (which I am one) would say they go to great and painful lengths to be perceived as mild or dare I say it fluent or at least have done so in the past
