I work at Woolworths (arguably the biggest supermarket in Australia) in customer service, so on the checkouts. My experience has been overall good, you can still provide good customer service even with a stutter. I have never had anyone be rude or make comments about it when having a conversation with them so I don’t think there is any need for you to stress :)
