PWS feel like they are “On” when they are speaking to people, especially unfamiliar people. They feel like they are faking it like you say. And there’s this weird dynamic of the harder you try or anticipate your own speech, the more stuck it wants to get. That bit that you feel but that your listener doesn’t see or know about is taxing to you because you feel it. Reminding yourself that the brain is kinda being a trickster in this way will give you ammo for confidence and understanding. You rock!
