My public speech Hi everyone! I don’t know if you remember, but a couple of weeks ago I posted about a presentation I had to give to complete my degree. I was really struggling every single day and felt awful about it. Then, one of you recommended a book called Speech Anxiety to Public Speaking, and it completely changed my perspective. I wasn’t anywhere near fluent, but this book taught me the importance of staying positive and keeping a good attitude. With this mindset, I delivered my presentation. It wasn’t perfect or super smooth, but I was proud to simply be there and say everything I wanted to say—even if it was a bit challenging. Out of a total of 8 points, I got 7, and I couldn’t be happier! I wanted to share this because this subreddit often has a lot of negative posts, and I wanted to remind everyone that we are capable of achieving anything we set our minds to!
