does anyone else repeat stuff you say a lot to stop stuttering?

does anyone else repeat stuff you say a lot to stop stuttering? so at times when i start to stutter more than usual ill count for a while in spanish (im not spanish, i just count in spanish a lot). it kinda helps but obviously not completely stops stuttering.
