Professor Quirrell (HP and the Sorceror's Stone

Professor Quirrell (HP and the Sorceror's Stone Did anyone else hate this character growing up? The movie in particular made it appear as though Professor Quirrell's stutter was almost an indication of his brooding and tormented psyche. His psyche was tormented by lord voldermort's soul obviously and Professor Quirrell most likely had a stutter his entire life, but after the reveal of the movie and upon further rewatches the audience can't help but interpret Professor Quirrell's stutter as a clear indication of the concealment of evil. Love the HP series but I always hated this character particularly because of my experience as a stutterer. At times my stutter has been interpreted as an indication of me lying or hiding something when it truly is just nerves or whatever neurological misfiring is happening in my brain when I try to speak. I just hated that the Professor Quirrell character played into that stereotype that so many people unfortunately believe. The stereotype that a stutter is an indication of some sort of deception. Anyone else fucking hate Professor Quirrell? Lol
