It’s possible to find a job in IT that doesn’t involve much talking on the phone, but it’ll be impossible to avoid it. The only thing I can think of would be working as a cable technician or network technician. You’d be running Ethernet cables and fiber, and setting up network racks for companies. Pay is decent, but it’s manual labor. Otherwise, you’re gonna be doing end user support on some level aka phone work. Edit: I worked in IT. I made my colleagues answer the phone and felt like I couldn’t do my job fully. It sucked.
