hey! I’m so sorry to hear your struggling. I know it’s super uncomfortable when people bring up stuttering and my family also sometimes gets visibly frustrated at me, which I know is wrong on their part. I started going to speech therapy and what my therapist told me was to not focus on the sound or letter your stuck on and to focus on the next one. for example, if your stuck on or know your going to get stuck on the d sound on word student go our on the “ent” part and not the “d” sound. you could also try filtering it sometimes to make it easier, which isn’t a good habit to get into but i sometimes use it if I’m really sick and ppl barely notice. using the same word you wouldn’t say “stu-dent”. you’d instead say “stu-hent” or just removing the “d” part of the word completely and say “stu-ent”.
