Yes exactly, he states that having a fear of stuttering actually causes you stutter more because of a concept called anticipatory anxiety which puts you in the frame of mind to block out words to not experience the fear of embarrassing yourself by stuttering, so I agree with everything he says but it's just the implementation of it. Is it necessary to go so in depth in one's mind and wouldn't it make you more conscious of your speech and thoughts to the point you over analyse. Did you speech therapy address the psychological aspect of it and have you had any long lasting effects from it.
