We have many police forces in Brazil, state and federal follow this two patterns, we have the military police (PM), they are the street cops and militarized so their medical test is harder. But the judiciary police (my branch), because we aren’t a militarized but civilian force, the medical tests are more relaxed, although the admission exam is considered to be more difficult. I don’t like the military system in Brazil so I’m ok with this, it’s also a better job overall and it gives me more time to study so I like it, plus it pays well too.
