1. Prepare the speech/script, the ACTUAL thing you are going to say, word for word (including puns) to leave out any space for spontaneity. 2. Practice in your room atleast 3-4 times and visualise the audience. Say the speech like you’re presenting plus do all gestures. Don’t overdo it, just keep it simple and try to make it flow like water. Actual presentation: 3. Start calmly with minimal eye contact for the first few seconds. Then start presenting while looking at people noses/forehead/space between eyes, whichever suits you. In your mind, ALWAYS keep this sentence running: “Ahh, fuck it, I don’t care. Fuck this. Fuck that). Trust me, it does wonders. 4. If and when you start to feel control of your voice/speech, you could improvise (in a controlled way, never get too excited or laugh). But it’s best to stick to the script you have prepared. 5. If you stammer or face a block, go for a high-pitched tone to get things running, then back to your normal tone. 6. Try to slowly walk (occasionally) and always take help of simple gestures while presenting. Don’t keep the body stiff, flow like water. 7. Remember the audience as idiots. Even if they are smarter or more senior than you, they are fucking idiots. Think as if only you know fully about the topic so don’t seek approval from them. Think of the audience as a bunch of sheep. You are in control. All the best mate.
