When your stutter forces you to reject a brilliant Christmas gift... Hey everyone, I'm sorry that my first post is a vent but I just have to get it off me. Oh and English isn't my first language, so please excuse my mistakes. I just unwrapped the gift my dad gave to me: An Amazon Echo Plus, used for home automation, something I have (professional) interest in. I was genuinely happy for about .1s (and still am of course, I really love it) but then the realization hit me: I won't be able to use it, every activation word starts with a letter which just won't come out of my mouth (I have blocks) especially when it's the start of a sentence. I explained it to my dad, he totally understands and we decided to return it (an additional reason is, that I don't reeeeally need it but it would have been fun for sure). I'm just feeling like such a disappointment and ungrateful person. Oh and additionally my stutter has been more severe than usual lately. I low-key hate myself rn... Thank you all for listening and merry Christmas!!
