Majority of stutters speak perfect when alone. I could be an audio book narrator alone in a room. However, knowing the mic is on would cause stuttering for me. Back when pizza was ordered with a phone, I used to speak my whole order a couple times before calling. Fluent, nuanced, tonally pleasing. Dial the number and I’m a stuttering mess. It’s not a mechanical problem.
